These terms and conditions apply to all transactions carried out through this website, except in special cases, previously established and accepted by both parties. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time. Any change will take effect on the date it is published on this website. Whenever an order is processed, you will have confirmed that you have understood and accepted the terms and conditions mentioned herein. Other terms and conditions will not apply.
OBJECT
This document regulates the general terms and conditions of use of the website www.aromasdodouro.com , owned by Miguel Silva, NIF 250329549, with individual activity and headquarters at Rua Fernando Cabral 4 1A, 1750-329 Lisbon.
Use of the website implies acceptance of the clauses set out in the Terms and Conditions at the time you access the website. If you do not accept them, you should not access the website, since by using it you are automatically committing to respect the conditions established in this document. If these Terms and Conditions are not complied with, Aromas do Douro reserves the right to take legal action as provided for by law.
PRODUCT SELECTION
Our products are handcrafted in small batches, with natural, ecological and biodegradable products and, for this reason, they may vary in color, shape or size shown on our website. Please note that the images are for reference only and that the final product may contain slight variations.
PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
All prices and fees are shown in Euros, including VAT at a rate of 23%. If you make a payment in another currency, exchange rates may be charged by your bank. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and the respective shipping costs are added to the value of the products. All goods will remain our property until full payment is confirmed, by confirmation or receipt. Aromas do Douro reserves the right to change prices at any time. All products are subject to availability.
ORDERS
To purchase our products, you must first register in our online store and confirm your registration and order in the email you will receive afterwards. Orders will be processed as soon as the respective payment has been confirmed. You will then receive an email with the shipping information for your order, as well as the respective invoice.
DELIVERIES AND SHIPPING
Shipments are made to mainland Portugal, the Azores and Madeira, and to Europe, via CTT Expresso or MRW (mainland Portugal and Spain). Our products are dispatched within a maximum period of 48-72 working hours, unless a specific quantity is ordered that we do not have in stock and that we have to produce, but we always inform you of the approximate estimated time. Delivery time may vary depending on the final destination. For mainland Portugal, the delivery time should not exceed 3 working days, and for Madeira and the Azores it should not exceed 15 working days, for other destinations it normally does not exceed 15 working days. The order will be sent to the recipient and address indicated. The address indicated is the sole responsibility of the customer. Any change by the customer will be charged the respective shipping cost again. If delivery is not possible by CTT, a postal notice will be left and the order will wait at your local CTT Post Office. In case of delivery by the carrier, the carrier will always notify you of the delivery. If it is not possible, it will contact you again to reschedule the delivery. You will have 5 business days to collect your order from your local CTT Post Office, and it will be returned after this period of time. If the products are returned to us by the carrier, you will have to pay the shipping fee again. In cases where shipping is offered, it will be charged for this reshipment. We are not responsible for delays or failures in the delivery service of our products.

Portugal (Azores): up to €29.99 - €12.50 | from R$30 - Free
Spain: up to €29.99 - €12.50 | from R$30 - Free
Europe: shipping from €27 (no free shipping over €30)
Rest of the World: €70 (no free shipping over €30)
COMPLAINTS
If you have any complaints, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do everything we can to give each situation the attention it deserves. However, please note that we have specific rules for returns of goods. Aromas do Douro is not responsible for damage caused by the shipping company.
ORDER CANCELLATION
You can cancel your order within 24 hours by sending us an email with the order number, unless it has already been processed or shipped. Cancellations will only be confirmed after written permission from us. We reserve the right not to accept order cancellations if they are already in the process of being processed. If the order is in the initial, confirmation stage, you can cancel the order and get your money back. Custom or made-to-order orders cannot be canceled.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If the product delivered to you is not in good condition, you have 24 hours to send an email to aromasdodouro@gmail.com accompanied by photographs and as much information as possible about the product and any defects found. If we assume responsibility, we will collect and replace the product or refund the value of the product. The items must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered, with the appropriate packaging and in perfect condition.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
You can exchange or return a product within a maximum period of 14 days.
Returned products must be in perfect condition, and we may refuse to accept the return of products that have been opened, damaged packaging, show signs of use, are missing or have damaged components. If any of these situations occur, the return or exchange will not be accepted and there will be no refund, and the product or order will be returned to the shipping address of the order placed. Shipping costs for exchanges or returns are the responsibility of the customer. After receiving the products and confirming that they are in good condition, the amount corresponding to the amount paid for the order will be refunded (amount shown on the sales invoice). If you purchased the product with a discounted value, this will be the amount refunded, that is, the refund will only be for the amount actually paid, excluding the amount paid for shipping. Refunds will be made within 14 days after receiving the return, via bank transfer. Exchanges or returns of personalized products, made to customer specifications or made to order, as established in article 103 of Law 3/2014, of March 27, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, will not be accepted.
PRICE LIST ERRORS
If for any reason there is an oversight and the amount shown on the website is not correct, we reserve the right to cancel the order. If your payment has already been made, we will refund the amount within a maximum period of 15 days after cancellation. In such cases, the customer is not entitled to claim any compensation.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Aromas do Douro owns all copyright and intellectual property rights to the website. No content from the website may be used, copied, displayed or published without our prior written consent. COMPETENT JURISDICTION
In the event of a dispute, whenever it is not possible to resolve it by mutual agreement, the competent court will be that of the District of Lisbon, expressly waiving any other.
Under the terms enshrined in article 18 of Law no. 144/2015, of 8 September, in the event of a dispute, the consumer has the possibility of resorting to Alternative Dispute Resolution entities, in the case of:

OMISSIONS
In any event that is omitted in these General Terms and Conditions, the legislation in force applicable to specific cases will apply.
